Answer: The Muslim indeed feels great pain and deep sorrow over the deterioration of the Palestinian cause, moving from a bad situation to one even worse, growing more complicated with the passing days, until it has reached what it has reached in recent times, because of the disunity of the neighboring countries, their failure to stand together as one front against their enemy, and their failure to abide by the ruling of Islam, upon which Allah has made victory conditional, and to whose adherents He has promised succession and empowerment on earth. This portends grave danger and a dire outcome, unless the neighboring countries hasten to unite their ranks anew and commit to the ruling of Islam regarding this cause, which concerns them and concerns the entire Muslim world.
Among the matters worth pointing out in this regard is that the Palestinian cause is, first and last, an Islamic cause. Yet the enemies of Islam have exerted tremendous efforts to remove it from its Islamic framework, and to make non-Arab Muslims believe that it is an Arab cause with which non-Arabs have no concern, and it appears that they have succeeded to some extent in this. Therefore, I hold that no solution to this cause can be reached except by regarding it as an Islamic cause, through unity among Muslims to save it, and through jihad against the Jews as an Islamic jihad, until the land is restored to its people, and until the alien Jews return to the countries from which they came, while the original Jews remain in their land under the rule of Islam, not under the rule of communism nor secularism. Thereby truth shall prevail and falsehood shall be defeated, and the people of the land shall return to their land under the rule of Islam, not under any other rule. And it is Allah who grants success.[1].
